Parking Garage Waterproofing – Concrete Repairs That Last

Updated: Dec 22, 2021

Over the last two weeks, we have been working on a multi-phase project doing concrete repair and waterproofing in a parking garage of a mid-rise residential building located on Victoria Park Avenue in Toronto. The scope of work includes concrete step and parking garage entrance repairs, as well as the restoration of catch basins, ledge beams, ceiling and walls. Extensive crack repair and patching have been done.

Crack Repair

Efficient waterproofing is ensured by following our specialised repair procedure: cracks are routed with a saw and treated with an industrial-strength adhesive. A specialised crack filler material follows. In case there are active leaks, those are stopped with industrial-strength materials fit for the purpose.

Patching

We are able to do patching even in difficult-to-access areas, such as around drainage pipes, as shown on the image below, because our materials make it possible to do patching without the use of forming (we can do patches as thin as 5 mm, if needed). Extensive patches can be installed, as was the case with this ledge beam and column in which the rebars were exposed.
