Our Repair Methods
Utility Room Waterproofing
From shaving the slab back to clean concrete through to the final polyurea membrane, these are the core steps we follow to restore and waterproof a utility or mechanical room floor.
Surface Preparation
The floor is shaved to remove paint and any other contaminants or oils – having clean and exposed concrete is a must in order to ensure proper installation.
Concrete Patching
All loose, unsound concrete is removed, and concrete surfaces are cleaned in preparation for patching and restoration. The area is then coated with an adhesive, and a patch is installed.
Crack Repair
Cracks are prepped and treated with specialised, industrial-strength adhesive. They are then filled with polymer cement and a waterproofing primer.
Surface Finish
Primer is applied when repairs are completed to ensure proper membrane installation.
A polyurea membrane is then applied — this specialised waterproofing membrane covers large areas quickly, ensuring long-lasting protection.
